Renovation of the Miollis Building

Under the auspices of the Steering Committee and the Headquarters Committee, the process of renovating the Miollis building was launched in 2016. Preserve the cultural heritage of the building and at the same time respond to ‘BBC 2009’ (the low-energy consumption label), such is the challenge of the makeover.

The renovation will aim at obtaining the environmental label ‘BBC 2009’, to lower the energy consumption level by installing the insulation system in fa?ade as well as roof materials and through better regulation of heating facilities to increase the thermal performance. While totally replacing fa?ade, we aim at preserving the original design.   The workspace will also conserve the spirit of the original design.  To this end, the Architect of the Buildings of France (ABF) will be involved in the design of the fa?ade to ensure that the original architecture is respected.
